Theory and practice of basic sailing skills

“The basics of sailing“ course is designed for anyone who've always, whether because of other people's tales, or simply by watching “the lucky ones“, felt that the wind, the sails and the sea can provide unique satisfaction, a satisfaction that cannot be described by words, but needs to be experienced in person. The power of the wind, the perfect simplicity of the sails and the unpredictability of the sea bring us back to a forgotten, but primal relationship with nature. A feeling of a renewed bond with nature makes sailing so enchanting, becoming a part of life we cannot wait to return to. Read more >>>

Where are we and our location

We are located between the two jewels of the Adriatic Sea - Kornati and Krka

Our sailing school is placed in ACI Marina Jezera on the island Murter, in the heart of Dalmatia. Jezera is a small town on the southeast side of the island, which is connected to the land with drawbridge over a narrow sea passage. The town is indent in bay shaped like horseshoe which is surrounded with gentle hills. Due to its natural position the town is not exposed to strong wind gusts so its bay is ideal for docking and ship habitation. Jezera, once exclusively a fisherman town, is still known as the most important starting point for fishing Adriatic tuna. Natural gift, beauty and indentedness of Adriatic Sea coast, something unusual and rare presents intrinsically encounter with sea. More >>>
